The NCGM Bulkhead project, New London, CT was a sheet pile capping design for the Waterfront Museum project. The project was a highly visible architecturally designed feature with several functional details including a docking bulkhead and walkway border and curb feature, as well as a functional sheet pile capping aspect, Tremie pours, and Armor Joint details. The project involved our marine division, certified welders, and structural and architectural concrete professionals.
Project Details
320 cubic yards of concrete along with 66,500 pounds of reinforcing. 281 linear feet of sheet pile capping with 1120 square feet of architectural finish.
