Scope of Work
The Bridge Street Deck Replacement project for the Town of Montville involved the complete removal and reconstruction of an existing bridge deck to improve structural integrity, safety, and long-term durability. The scope of work consisted of the installation and maintenance of traffic control and erosion control, clearing and grubbing, site work, temporary support of the existing bridge for bridge deck demolition, bridge superstructure demolition and disposal, bridge substructure rehabilitation, bridge superstructure replacement, bridge rail replacement, guiderail replacement, pavement replacement, and site restoration.
Project Details
Due to the critical nature of the roadway and the need to minimize disruption to the public, the project was executed under a tightly controlled schedule with a six-week road closure. Coordination with the Town and project stakeholders was essential to ensure timely completion.
